Sitting Alone at a Parisian Cafe Painting

I'm an abstract artist from Atlanta, Georgia. I create my paintings using a variety of mediums, including acrylic paint, oil paint, alcohol ink, texture mediums, and oil sticks. My work strives to create a thoughtful and emotional experience drawing you into a world of color, texture, and mood. My approach always starts with a decision to be open and surrender to the moment. A mix of intentional and intuitive paint pours, gestural strokes, or marks create a dance of color and texture that are both spontaneous and deliberate. From there I allow the process to guide me, free from judgements or limitations. As I paint, some elements get covered over while others are revealed again, and the finished painting contains a rich, layered history. Art has become an important part of my life to nourish, heal and connect with my intuition and what I need spiritually to share with others.
