The series is an exploration of tying to find beauty in a sometimes not so beautiful world. This work is a commentary on how some of the "ugliest" things, faces, art in this world can at times be the most fascinating and still draw you in and make you fall in love with them. All materials used to make this work were found on the streets of NYC. The frame/canvas was found on the street as well as all the collaged elements which were hand cut from found books, fashion/beauty magazines found in the garbage on the street and brought back to life in an unconventional manner.
