Victoria Molina (Durango, 1988) is a Mexican visual artist and designer whose practice centers on the exploration of the body, territory, and nature through an ecological and sensitive lens. Working with reclaimed and organic materials and collaborative processes, her work investigates the feminine, the ritual, and the expressive qualities of matter, articulating languages between contemporary art, design, and installation. Her work has been exhibited in national and international spaces such as Tokyo Designers Week (Japan, 2013), Lucca Art Fair (Italy, 2019), the 20th anniversary of Zona Maco (Mexico City, 2024), and the 40th anniversary of the Havana Biennial (Cuba, 2024), where she presented a large-scale collaborative collage. She has shared her practice through workshops and lectures in Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, and New Zealand. She graduated Magna Cum Laude in Industrial Design from the University of Monterrey (2011) and was recognized by the Honorable Congress of Nuevo León as one of the state’s top students. In 2009, she studied at the Polytechnic University of Turin, Italy, and in 2013, she completed a research residency at the Kyoto Institute of Technology, Japan, thanks to a CONACyT–JICA scholarship, where she explored the intersection between modern design and traditional craftsmanship. Since 2015, she has independently resumed her artistic practice, and in 2016, she was selected for the Amar-Abierto Creative Residencies of the Cultural Innovation Lab in Ensenada, Baja California. She currently lives and works in the State of Mexico.
