I was born in San Francisco and grew up in the Bay Area. I graduated from UC Berkeley with a BA in Fine Arts in 1976, earned my teaching credentials from California State University in Hayward in 1978, and an MFA in Painting from CCAC in Oakland, which is now named CCA. My paintings, drawings and prints are in private, public and corporate collections throughout California, including the Crocker Art Museum in Sacramento, the J.P. Morgan Foundation in Los Angeles, and Grubb & Ellis in San Francisco. I've been included in over 90 juried and commercial gallery shows, and in 2004, Moved to a small, Northern California town called Ruth, where I now have my home and maintain a studio.
