During the 6th Ceramics Symposium in Romhild (GDR) in 1990, I made my first "Dutch Landscape," an installation of ceramic waves and ships. The longing for the landscape of my youth was an inspiration for me: The flat land near the North Sea at the edge of the continent. This nostalgia was represented by the Dutch Landscape, the ships, clouds, water. In recent years my focus has been on a different theme. Since high school I was interested in physics and astronomy, but only now I have time to attend lectures and study. In my visual work I report on this learning process. My aim is to show the beauty of logic and science. I am working on several projects: ++ "Notes on Matter and Antimatter". This is a study report on different topics, for example, on the Lorentz force and bubble room photos. ++ "Great American Eclipse". The photos I took of the eclipse were used in my ceramic work. ++ In 2025, I made my first cloud chamber. Tracks of charged particles that are all around us are visualized in this simple detector. The films and photographs taken of the particle tracks are used in my work.
