I, FIGURE PAINTER The interest in figure painting emerged in my works starting from the choice to attend the course of Goffredo Trovarelli, the most traditional teacher of the Florentine Academy, which led me to paint posed models from life. After a parenthesis of Kleeian suggestions in the years 2006/2010, I recovered the figure in its plastic values in reference to characters and events in history, politics, news and the media in general. I have experimented with glazed terracotta sculpture in the creation of busts of famous cultural personalities and continuing to paint with oil on canvas technique.
