I prefer to express myself with what's already inside and then see which global peers I can identify with (instead of trying to adopt any specific direction previously dictated by our predecessors). I do not think my approach is necessarily any more valid than anyone else's, I'm just doing what comes naturally (communicating in several different disciplines simultaneously).
