I was born and grew up in London. Apart from living in Berlin for 2 years I have lived in London most of my life. I still live there although I now spend a lot of my time in France where I paint.
My intention in my paintings is to be faithful to the creative process, rather than using the power of the intellect or mind. I simply allow the painting to emerge in its own way. Having said that I look for a balance and harmony within the painting, and hope it will be a beautiful expression of profound emotions and truth.
