Why I love to paint..
Color excites me. Patterns get me mesmerized. I find myself coming back over and over to intricate details and at the same time in awe of the transcending nature of the abstract. I love duality; pairing of opposites and the eternal struggle to balance them. I wish to escape the mundane and land in a world of my creation, with all the hustle included. I desire to capture the essence of the natural world, culture and abstract it so that its an invitation for you to look beyond the immediate; may be take you down paths in your own life beyond here and now; or to summarize in Mary Oliver's words:

"What I want in my life is to be willing to be dazzled—
to cast aside the weight of facts and maybe even to float a little above this difficult world".
