Austin Dalley

My name is Austin, and I'm a writer, artist, and historian from Southern California currently based in Europe as I work on my masters degree (and beyond) to chase the life I've always dreamed of.

As both a specialist of Ancient Greek history and a prolific sketch artist, my work is often focused on the male form as was so common in the Classical Greek age, but with a modern, subdued minimalism from my own contemporary tastes and desire to emphasize the line and form of the human figure.

My work is done in either charcoal or ink, and evokes a simple, timeless beauty that parallels our remaining sculpture of the Classical age.
