Batu Gundal

Batu Gündal was born in the U.K Bristol 1983, after finishing primary school he moved back to his mother land North Cyprus with his family where he continued his education finishing collage while taking on various art courses over the period of 6 years. In 2007 he Graduated form Hacettepe University in Turkey form the faculty of fine arts, Painting under Prof. Hasan Pekmezci. After spending some of his time working as a graphic desiner for a company in Ankara aswell as doing freelance work, he travels back to North cyprus Where takes on somre restoration work with Craftsman Aziz Mevlitler renewing a historical Library. later on he moves to London seeking new inspirations and work opertunites where he lives for a year and permenantly moves to North Cyprus Where he Teaches art at his own Personal Workshop, as well as Work for a Private Company as a Graphic desiner. Batu Finds his inspiration and passion in the human figure and everyday life, the mix of cultures and diversity of emotions and feelings.
