Ekaterina Belaya

I am a landscape painter from Moscow. I paint almost all my paintings in the open air. The closest thing to my creativity is landscape. Since childhood, nature has fascinated me. I really like to portray nature as joyful and bright as I see it. I have paintings from all sorts of places. Wherever I have been, I bring from there my picturesque impressions, which I create immediately on nature. I am very glad that I can keep these feelings for myself and for my viewer.

My favorite materials are canvas and oil. In the open air I work all year round, including in the cold winter. Winter for me is the most interesting time for creativity. Everything around seems fabulous and magical when shrouded in fluffy and shiny snow. Each season is beautiful in its own way, and I really want to show it with my paintings.

Over the years of persistent search and work, I have created more than 1000 sketches - sunsets, sunrises, snowdrifts and flowering fields. Here you can find a picture that smells of fragrant summer herbs, damp morning forest or frosty sun.


My works are in private collections in Germany and England.
