Cat Burton

Cat Burton is a Perthshire based fine art photographer who creates ethereal and atmospheric artworks.

Her work is inspired by fantasy, fairytale and folklore, from real world myths and legends to alternate worlds such as video games, fiction and films.

Recent works have focused on the folklore, tales and nature of Scotland, with a particular emphasis on Perthshire.

Each artwork is meticulously crafted from one or more photographs she has captured over the years. Through great care and craftsmanship, her photographs are transformed into timeless artworks, often taking on the appearance of paintings.

Produced as limited editions on Hahnemuhle Fine Art Pearl paper using archival inks, her artworks are of the highest quality.

Limited editions are printed by the artist herself and are hand signed, numbered, titled, and supplied with a certificate of authenticity.
