Fulvio Celico

His artworks are deeply emotional yet profoundly rational at the same time. They are not totally intentional nor fortuitous. They are a merge of immiscible worlds, surrounded by water, covered by the earth, with unexpected colours and shapes. His paintings describe visible and underground environments, often linked with humid rocks in aquatic habitats, using a synthetic language.
His artworks show his personal perception of the Nature.
The voluntary hydrogeological work made in several low-income Countries leads to artworks were the desertification is giving voice to migrants who escape their arid Countries, while aquatic/fertile environments are talking about the migrants’ hope for a better future.
The Nature becomes oneiric, exaggerated details when observing the sculptures made of enamel and resin. The transparent sculptures are as smooth as water and, at the same time, as coloured as joking games.
Paintings and sculptures are sometimes coupled with brief poems.
