Christos Zografos

Born in 1980 in Larissa, Christos studied Civil Engineering-Infrastructure, with a postgraduate specialization in environmental management projects. I published many articles in the field of infrastructure in international scientific journals.
Self-taught, he creates mixed media artworks. Influenced by painters such as Kandinsky, Klee, Albers, Pollock, Dali, Van Gogh, Mondrian. He is fascinated by geometric shapes, symmetries and symbols. In his creational process, he would not choose realistic patterns. He would rather prefer to create with symbols through color, movement, shape, free forms.
His style is abstract, with strong elements of the Bauhaus school and the abstract expressionist tendency. The theme is based on the human psychosynthesis, the space-time, the subconscious and of course the experiences of the artist. The materials he uses in his works are mainly acrylic paints, air spray, acrylic markers, various varnishes, gold leaf on canvas or wood. As an artist, composition and visual arts are his passion.
He has participated in solo and group exhibitions in Greece while his murals and paintings adorn various public buildings and shops in Larissa as well as private collections in Athens, Thessaloniki and London. His wor...
