Conor O Grady

Conor O’Grady’s is an Irish visual artist based in Counties Donegal and Mayo. His practice uses
observation, conversation and material & visual investigation as primary research techniques for
creating work. Incorporating these. As well as non-visual-art-practices such as Journalism,
Criminology and Sociology as frameworks for representing this research.

He studied Fine Art Education at the National College of Art and Design and Fine Art Practice at
Dublin Institute of Technology, Portland Row.

Exhibitions include the solo exhibitions Contested Territories at Custom House Studios and Galleries (2019). An Archive of Provocative Acts, Siamsa Tíre Gallery, Tralee (2018). Tasmania (2015). Kathleen Lynn: Insider on the Outside 1916 commemoration exhibition (2016). In 2019 he will undertake two solo exhibitions.
