South African based (more specifically Cape Town) painter.
In an attempt at evoking some sort of nostalgia, when creating my paintings, I try to honour the culture, foods and drinks of my youth with the same seriousness one might have applied to a still life depicting a noble feast of the ages gone past.

Self taught.
Although... i had a fantastic art teacher in high school.
Have formal training in graphic design (if that helps.)
