Daniel De La Barra

I have always had a great interest in redeeming the classical processes of painting. My work develops in a timeless universe, a limbo between the rational and the subconscious, where the matter decomposes as a metaphor of reality nowadays and the loss of visual sensibility. Furthermore, the crudity of the images in process of dematerialization is an invitation to find beauty within the grotesque.
