I need and love to paint.

With the opportunity to live abroad in Mexico and Indonesia and travel the world my horizons were broadened. It was thrilling to study and experience the light, colour and atmosphere in different countries. The ability to see beyond my world was invaluable. Due to the exposure of so many art forms I constantly reinvent my colour palette. Brush strokes are absolutely a feeling like no other and I feel them intimately.

The impressionistic movement touched my heart as it is seeing with feelings. Nothing else has engaged my curiosity so deeply.

With each brush stroke I strive to give life to the painting so that others can relate to the vision before them.

I am a self taught artist for the most part, though I did take art in school and several higher educational courses. Reading books, visiting museums and taking an art history course in Greece and Italy was a complete joy that taught me so much more than I could have imagined.
