Deborah Pendell is a photographic artist, specialising in combining fine art photography and New and Digital Mixed Media by the use of textures or digital manipulation to create something more complex than a photograph. She produces artworks across a range of genres including delicate floral painterly art through to colourful contemporary abstract pop art. Each artwork is a fluid process until she is happy with the outcome.

Deborah spent many years creating conceptual fine art imagery for the book cover industry, selling images all over the world, which introduced her to the many creative editing techniques and ideas that she nows employs in creating her artworks.
Her limited editions are often available in more sizes than the one listed. Commissions are also accepted.

I am a self taught photographer and have been a photographer for over a decade.

For many years, I created fine art conceptual photographic imagery for the book cover market, building a large portfolio of creative digital artwork with my agent Arcangel Images, known globally for providing high-end artwork to the publishing industry. Working within this industry allowed me to grow creatively and be experimental with my photography and my digital work. My digital artwork has sold all over the world and continues to do so. I have been a finalist in a global photography competition after which my photography was exhibited at the Mall Galleries and then did a tour of the UK over several months exhibiting in a number of locations.

In the last couple of years, I decided I wanted to change my direction as a photographer so that I could create digital artwork that was not constrained by the needs of the book cover market but where I could express myself freely and creatively by making limited edition art. This has been a fantastic journey for me, branching out into a range of photographic and digital genres.
