Ruth Mccarthy

With knowledge of fashion history artist makes dolls dressed with corsets and silk reflecting various centuries. All dolls have their personality and are unique. They take a lot of artist time to be made, from a month to a year.

1977 graduated costume design in St. Zukas Applied Art Collage, Kaunas.
1982 Graduated Masters degree in Lithuanian Art Institute, Vilnius.

Has participated in exhibitions since 1983.
1989 member of Lithuanian artists association.
Exhibited in Lithuania, Ryga, Sweden. USA.
