EVELYN SNOEK

Evelyn Snoek is a painter who is best known for her colorful paint sculptures. In her work you see layers of time, space, fluidity and color. In fact, her work is an investigation into the foundation of painting itself. And at the same time an exploration of what color means in a space. Her studio is like a laboratory where she investigates when a painting stops being a painting, when it gains mass and relates to space as an object.
