Born and raised in China, came to the United States in 1987.

Currently, living and working as an artist in San Francisco.

1979-1983, Received Bachelor of Law degree from the East China University of Law & Political Science.

1998-2001, Received Master of Fine Arts degree from the San Francisco State University.
