Gordy Livingstone, (b.1988) is a Glasgow based artist, exploring colour fields and pictorial found ephemera, to create painterly abstract works.
Combining themes of magical realism, figures occupying urban environments, mental health issues and the alternative aesthetics of people, Gordy looks to juxtapose these elements that on first viewing offer a bright and fantastical play into painting but offer a more in-depth insight into the themes that entangle the artists life and the sporadic nature of his thoughts and processes.
