Hekuran Sokoli

Hekuran Sokoli, a painter and visual artist, began his artistic journey working with colors at a printing press. Specializing in geometric abstraction, his work intertwines mechanical forms and graphic design elements, achieved through precise manipulation of color and form to create a distinctive style. His pieces resonate with themes of freedom, intellectual curiosity, and self-exploration, vividly expressing the known and unknown within himself.

Artist's Statement:

In a world where the expectations concerning mankind are ever-increasing, I can do a few things to make a living. Yet I settle for what is most insecure and childish. This is because only in art I find the full expression. Only in art I can merge my knowledge and experience together with my imagination and create something unimpeded. In it, I find shelter, intellect, creativity, joy, struggle, hard work, discipline, fun, individualism, challenge, healing, acceptance, and above all, FREEDOM.

I manifest all of this through geometric forms and shapes because this is my best way of expression. Through geometric art, I manage to express the known and the unknown within myself.
