My work gets cranky when I try to categorize it. I wander all over the place in terms of subject matter, style and technique, but the figure is the primary focus of my work. As a soon-to-be graduate student studying psychology, the human form has become my favored vessel for expression.
I source inspiration with eager eyes, snapping up tidbits of this and that, and drawing from foggy, dream-like memories of early life. I do not ascribe to any one art movement or follow any specific artists to hail them as the founding makers of my art-minded brain, but rather I dip into a murky collective of shifting information and imagery.
