I am Ingrid Ruperchter, a watercolor artist. For those who don´t know me, my artistic path is simplicity, the ethereal, the abstraction, everything as a whole!
The themes vary, they go from the seascape to buildings.
In my beginnings I studied from a very young age with Virginia Martegani, Cita Muhlhahn and Dante Picarelli, this last one mentioned was the one who boost me towards watercolor.
I chose watercolor as my artistic field since i loved it from my childhood.
My way of working is quite spontaneous. I follow ideas that i have in the back of my mind and then I capture them without prior drawing, fact that my mentor Dante Picarelli admired.
The external influences that affect my art are the intuition and passion that i have for this amazing technique.
In 1991, I started oil painting classes with Sita Muhlhahn.
