My name is Irina Ges. I was born in Riga, Latvia, on March 15th 1976. Currently living and working in Vilnius, Lithuania. All the activities that I did were related to beauty, harmonization of space and emotional comfort. I was inspired to seriously engage in creativity by the internal transformation that took place after certain events in my life. My vision of the world, my perception and understanding have changed. I began to see beauty in literally everything and always. Creativity fills my heart with love and gratitude for life, for people, for nature, for events and allows me to feel how my world takes care of me. On my creative path, creating textural, voluminous paintings and interior details, experimenting with various materials to create an interesting texture, I discovered clay plaster for myself. This natural material, unique for its malleability and simplicity, and natural aesthetics.Creating art is like an exercise for the soul. A philosophical approach which allows and encourages full freedom of expression. I combine painting and sculpture which is exhilarating.
