James Zeta

My name is Jaime Jurado Pomares, better known in the world of illustration and contemporary art under the nickname James Zeta.

I spent more than twenty years dedicating myself to the illustration, design and realization of exhibitions both outside and inside Spain.


Part of the premise of showing the emotional face of the image and the effort required to convey the personality in a manner as specific as the shadows, surge this technique.

The stain as the main element is responsible for showing the most personal and significant features of what is intended to capture.


The use of ink translates into an exact moment and a specific emotion of a characteristic place, stories and fictions of the stranger's life, therefore, the regular constancy of that reality.

It could be said that there are a lot of ways to carry out a type of exercise with other techniques or methods, including digital treatment.

However, the process of realization by hand is much more complex, and involves a real confrontation with the image, as well as the filter, otherwise it will not completely control each stroke, each spot and each blank space.
