Jing Guo

​Guojing (Jing guo) Author & Artist of picture book 'The Flamingo', 'Stormy' and 'The Only Child' which have been published in 11 language territory, winner of The New York Times Best Illustrated Book of 2015. Her book was reported by New York Times, Wall Street Journal,Washington Post and CNN,etc. In 2010, Guojing started to create her series of paintings which is inspired by Cartoon,Chinese Folk Art and Southeast Asian Culture. Guojing try to share her feelings and thoughts about meaning of Freedom today, Destiny and Awakening of Self-consciousness in Asian woman’s perspective through her art. Her series of painting is a reflection of society which point out many unasked questions in this Complex world of Supply and Demand. She lives in Canada.
