Based in a Somerset studio in the heart of the countryside, I work entirely with locally sourced seasoned English Oak. I am drawn to the sense of ancient woodland history affirmed by the Oaks characterful grain and texture. My aim is simple - to illuminate through exquisite shape and form the true and individual beauty of the timber, in every hand finished piece.
I have not studied the medium of art, all of my craft has been self taught.
