Jorge Luis Santos García (Venezuela / Spain) is a photographer who focuses his personal oeuvre on three fundamental pillars: spirituality, nature, and sexuality. These pillars enable him to delve deeper into documentary photography of religious and popular manifestations, nature photography as an approximation to knowing the "self", and nude photography as a tool to explain human joy as a divine event. He has successfully blended these 3 pillars to express his personal ideas and concepts.
His publication (Book) “9th Floor” (2019), as a book dummy, was selected and displayed (exhibited) in the Latin American Photobook category at the 7th Invitational for the Montevideo Photography Center (CdF, Uruguay, 2018). "Pido, prometo y pago" (2016), was selected to be included in the 30th Athens Photo Festival (Greece, 2017), the 8th Lisbon Photography Book Fair (Portugal, 2017) and the 5th Encounter of Photographs by the Author – BC Photo Festival (Brazil, 2017). So far, he has participated in 123 collective exhibitions. Of these, 65 in Venezuela and 58 international shows between Argentina, Australia, Bolivia, Brazil, Bulgaria, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Ecuador, Germany, Spain, India, Mexico and Uruguay.
