Internationally Acclaimed & Collected, British Artist, Juliette McGill, born Hertfordshire 1970, Graduated from Chelsea School of Art London Institute under the tutelage of artists: Clyde Hopkins, Mali Morris, Roger Ackling, Jo Bruton, graduated in 1999 with BA (hons) Fine Art. Juliette McGill has lived and worked in Paris and San Francisco as a full time artist and within the fashion & music Industry, Juliette currently lives and works in her native Hertfordshire.

Juliette McGill is a celebrated British abstract artist whose work is inspired by nature and is predominantly textured and about surface. Sensory and with a tactile presence, her paintings are also reminiscent of inner landscapes, the psyche and psychological space.

Music, tempo and physicality play an important role in McGills paintings. She uses an array of all natural mixed media pigments and textures that give the work a life of their own.

I am influenced by organic matter, the ocean, conservation, changing tides, moon cycles, sun bleaching, movements in time and space, natural phenomenon, erosion and weathering; this then lends itself to becoming a metaphor for life experiences and happenings on life's journey.
