Kate Studley

Having grown up on a farm in rural Cheshire, and relocating to Aachen, Germany, Kate Studley's artwork aims to create a physicality to concepts regarding nature and the environment.

Studley's art has always remained personal as she continues to find original and interesting ways to express her emotions to her audience. Such imagery often found within Studley's sculptures and concept illustrations portray her devotion and interest in organic forms.

Through her artwork, Studley presents a manipulation of organic forms that are often considered grotesque by the viewer. By removing the subject from its context the artist aims to change the audience's perception of these organisms, helping to realise that all nature is beautiful. .
