Katharina Famen

This year (2021) I do a new experimental series for which I experimented with plumb lines of different weights on rubber cords and calligraphy pens.The background is my preoccupation with astronomy. The drawings deal with the fragmentation of planets after an impact and with the forces of attraction between bodies of different weights, with the positions, movements and properties of objects in the universe. Hope you like it.

What does it mean for a digital society when our mind and body change sustainably? When humans and technology merge into a super brain, because we can not live without chips in our head, without printed organs, without virtual sex. Will we soon turn into a new human species - the Homo Digitalis?
