Kathryn Hunter

Expressing an interest in art from an early age, in Minnesota circa 1984, Kat got her first easel and a set of pastels at age 4 and immediately set up in front of the TV, so Bob could see her working and set about creating her first still life of fruit while he created his 30-minute masterpiece.

40 years later, in Kansas City, MO, she's still at it.
Different subject matter- and Mr. Ross, sadly, isn't her art buddy anymore. She does have a few new people to create with- albeit with less awesome hair.

Kat is self-taught and learning more all the time. Throughout her career she has evolved through many different areas of art, and her timeline is a creative journey through music, dance and visual art.

She's been the vocalist in a band, worked as an entertainer, and was a licensed tattoo artist for over 10 years. She provides colorful textile dye work for a nationally recognized string tribute to the Grateful Dead. She has also designed art for a motorcycle club's merchandise, created cover art for a season of a podcast, and designed and made dresses worn by an up-and-coming pop artist for their album release and for a fundraising gala.
