Originally born and raised in Estonia, and I have lived in Finland, UK and now in Luxembourg.
My artistic influences include Paulo Coelho, Jason Brooks, Alice Kettle, Henri Matisse, Paul Klee, Sonia Delaunay, Hannah Höch, Kazimir Malevich and Wassily Kandinsky.
I draw inspiration from philosophy, religion, literature, society and Estonian National Embroidery.
From mediums, I like using unbleached calico as it is natural and even white tones are visible. I also use white and black cotton fabrics.
Every now and then I experience with different techniques and mediums.
Having interest in textiles and graphic design, I like using geometrical shapes in my work.
As long as I can remember, I've always been passionate about art. I studied art, fashion and tailoring in Estonia, before moving to broaden my inspiration. Having interest in textiles and graphic design I like using geometrical shapes in my work. I also formally studied art and textiles in the UK, and have also self-taught.
Whilst studying tailoring, I worked for Estonian fashion designers Katrin Kuldma and Evelin Kattai including making dresses for the Eurovision contest and for presidential events.
I also took a fashion drawing course under the Estonian fashion designer Liivika Povvat.
My works were most recently exhibited in the exhibition 'Design or Redesign' in 2016 in Luxembourg.
