Kian Ziari

My work involves exposing layers of paint that have been applied to the canvas using a transfer method. I feel that this approach allows me to explore the application of paint on canvas in an abstract and vigorous way. I am inspired by open landscapes and the pure aspect of nature; I use different vistas and apply an abstract feel to them.
I enjoy working in a large scale and having uniqueness in my process; my ideas are drawn from memory, or past experiences.
