I create realistic portraits of Black people in charcoal and pencil that capture the range of nuanced feelings that come with being a Black person today.
I'm a self-taught artist who uses the three Ps—patience, practice, and persistence—to build his photorealistic approach. To produce these meticulous pieces, I use inspiration from reference photos, live models, and my own ideas.
