In the years of 1983-1992 lived and worked in London, England. Since 1994 she lives and works in New York City.

Krystyna Borkowska studied Fine Art at the Academy of Art in Lodz, Poland. Graduated with Masters of Fine Art in Painting and Printmaking in 1983.
