Taki KITADA explores the intersection of Buddhist philosophy and contemporary life, reimagining mythological narratives within urban landscapes.

Working across urban photography, digital drawing, and acrylic painting, she captures spontaneous city scenes that become the foundation for layered, reconfigured compositions. Her process blends traditional and digital techniques to create vibrant images where industrial environments give rise to spiritual iconography.

Central to her work is the Buddhist concept of paradise—not as a distant afterlife, but as a transformation of the present. By reworking mundane cityscapes through a mythological lens, KITADA reveals moments of transcendence within the everyday, suggesting that beauty and spiritual fulfillment can be found here and now.
