Lauren Baker

Lauren Baker is a British contemporary multidisciplinary artist who exhibits internationally. Her work explores symbolism, higher realms of consciousness, and communing with nature and the elements. Lauren's signature light works exude energy through her celestial chakra artworks. Passionate about environmental issues and sustainability, the artist uses light to express the 'secrets of the universe' and aims to raise the vibration of love and connection within the world.

Baker unveiled her environmentally focused 2 metre bronze sculpture, ‘Consciousness Awakening’, during the Venice Biennale. The piece - a tree-like-plant sprouting eyes stands in Giardini Marinaressa via the European Cultural Centre - until the 24 Nov 2024. Baker battled storms to unveil her monumental ‘Wisdom Totems’, which explore symbolism, each ten metre tall at Burning Man, Nevada desert - Aug 2023. Her ‘Luna Woman Power Totem' is a 3.3 metre public light art installation, created in celebration of the suffragette movement in 1914. Placed at the historical landmark Palmers Green London in which the last demonstration before women got the right to vote. Commissioned in Feb 2022 as a long term installation, thanks to Enfield Council and Hive Curates.
