My illustrative paintings seek to present the world of impermanence and fleeting beauty.

By combining iconic Art Deco design elements with Japanese and Korean motifs, I hope to lift the viewer into a contemplative world, rich in colour, texture and emotion.

I have lived and travelled extensively in the far east. I studied Fine Art at Central St Martins School of Art and Design. I also studied at the design school Ecole Nationale Superieure de Arts Decoratifs in Paris. I am also interested in the role of aesthetics in political culture.
