Lilia Zinnurova

I was born in Novosibirsk, where I studied painting for six years at the Academy of Architectural Arts. For two years l worked in the field of landscape architecture and at the same time began to draw and do crafts with children, including children with disabilities. I worked as an art teacher in an elementary school for ten years, which inspired me to create children's illustrations and art.

Now I live in Sweden with my husband and son, who inspire me to be creative. I like to travel around the world and meet new people, who then become the heroes of my illustrations.

I also paint textural acrylic paintings that convey the state of mind, they are colorful, emotional and help to plunge into memories and the most trembling moments of life. The ideas for my paintings i find from life and my surroundings, and then it turns into expressive images.
