Karolina Walczak

I think that art is the best way to get to know the world and feel the relationship with it.

I work with various mediums (drawing, painting, graphic art - mainly linocut) and stylistics. I don`t want to be limited by form.

I find inspiration in everyday situations, human faces, literature and electronic music.

My sensitivity to color has been strongly shaped by French and Polish Impressionists.

2014 - 2017 - Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk, second degree studies in the field of Artistic Graphics finished with obtaining the title of Master of Arts.

2011 - 2014 - Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk, 1st degree studies in the field of Graphics finished with obtaining the title of Bachelor of Arts.

2009 - 2011 - Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk, studying in the field of Painting.

2005 - 2009 - Art High School in Szczecin.

2018 - Post-competition exhibition 4th Gielniak Print Competition in the Karkonosze Museum in Jelenia Góra, Poland.

2012 - collective exhibition of students of the Academy of Fine Arts "Pokazucha`2012" at the Polish Home in Ejszyszki, Lithuania.

2012 - Individual exhibition of painting and graphic art at the Flisak `76 pub in Gdańsk, Poland.

2011 - collective exhibition of Painting in the House of Polish Culture in Ejszyszki, Lithuania.

2010 - Participation in the Festival of "poMorze Sztuki", Gdańsk, Poland.
