I am largely a portrait painter and have been for the past thirty years however, I have recently been painting a series of non commissioned pieces. I re-discovered my love of painting, particularly the nude. I'm on a journey of exploration, painting this most traditional of subjects but giving it a modern twist. I have always been a painter of people and never tire of this subject matter.
I trained as an illustrator gaining my degree and after a decade working in publishing and advertising soon realised that portraiture was a better fit for me and my new family.
