In my work, I transfigure every-day life. Through it, I manifest the subjective content and the personal interpretation of an invisible and fantastic universe.
In this universe, there is life in everything. The soul of all beings is exposed of the animal kingdom, vegetables and minerals. The latent force of life is thus expressed in this vibratory energy, in the undulation which passes through my body and determines brushstroke and colors.

Her work has also been shown in the United States, at the Latin American Art Gallery and at Serious Studios in Miami, and in Belgium / Europe at LineArt-Gent. In 2004, exhibitions of Lucemar de Souza's works occurred at AAI-Galerie in Vienna / Austria; in New York at Agora Gallery in the show entitled "Masters of the Imagination"; participation in Art Copenhagen / Denmark; in the show Art at War at Aldo Castillo Gallery, Chicago; and a solo show entitled "The Imaginary" at Feso ProArte, Terespolis, Rio de Janeiro, with a selection of her most rec...
