Lucy Bristow

Lucy Bristow is a visual artist who is living and working in Brighton.
She obtained a Fine Art degree from Bristol in 1989, worked in London for many years as an artist and an illustrator for a wide variety of magazines, publishers and design agencies, before moving to Brighton.
Lucy’s pictures currently draw their inspiration from nature. She likes nothing better than to go off exploring with an Ordinance Survey map into the countryside. The pictures are a mixture of oil paints and collage (often using OS maps within the images.) Some of the colours are created from grinding up the pieces of earth from these expeditions.
