Long Luu Vu

Luu Vu Long was born in 1976 in Vinh Phuc, graduated from the Vietnam University of Fine Arts in 2001. He had spent two years living and working in Munich, Germany before returning to Hanoi. Starting from the debut exhibition in 1997, Luu Vu Long has featured in over 20 solo exhibitions and group shows in and outside of Vietnam and become more and more well-known by his creations in the last 10 years which took children in the center place. Luu Vu Long does not paint children, but rather paints the world through children's eyes. His works featured by the the raw, black brush strokes, rough and vivid colors taken directly from the color tubes create a colorful and vibrant world which is both playful and liberal and convey to viewers the feelings of innocence and happiness that seem to be found only through children's eyes.
