Born in Reykjavik Iceland. Exhibitions in all public museums in Iceland and participation in various exhibitions worldwide. Works found in museums- and public collections in Iceland and abroad.M.M.K. constructs her work through graphic mediums and is known for her large wood- and lino cuts influenced on themes such as childhood, maternity, mentality and sexuality. Magdalena has received various grants, held private exhibitions and participated in selected group shows in museums and galleries. She taught printmaking courses in the Reykjavik School of Visual Art and The Icelandic Academy of The Arts. Her works are with the Icelandic House of Parliament and museums in Iceland, Sweden, Norway, China and Japan.

Studied at the Icelandic College of Arts and Crafts in Reykjavik 1980-84, printmaking division.Worked as a graphic teacher in Iceland Academy of the Arts and Reykjavik Art school. In the board of directors for the Icelandic Artist Associations; SÍM in Iceland and NKK Scandinavia.,
